Truffles are well known to be one of the rarest, and most expensive, delicacies available. What’s not known is the cutthroat world of truffle hunting. Where it’s not uncommon to see fraud, theft, sabotage, and even murder.

Highly recommend the 2021 Nicolas Cage movie “Pig” (available to stream on Hulu right now) that is a beautiful movie about a man who’s truffle hunting pig is kidnapped (and goes completely unexpectedly in the most non-John Wick/Liam Neeson direction).
